On October 22, 2025, YKK Philippines was invited to participate in the 2025 Philippine Textile Congress – Championing an Inclusive Circular Textile Innovation Ecosystem – hosted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
The event was led by Dr. Julius L. Leano Jr., Director of the DOST-Philippine Textile Research Institute and Chair of the Congress. It was also attended by various political leaders, researchers, and engineers.

On September 19, 2025, the Association of FPIP Locators Inc. (Environment, Safety and Health Committee) held the Green Couture 2025: Sustainable Eco-Fashion Show at the FPIP Oasis Gym. YKK Philippines was one of the sponsors of the event.

In aim of environmental commitment, YKK Philippines, Inc. participated in the First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) ESH Activity Park-Wide Clean-Up Drive last March 21, 2025, by maintaining cleanliness within the industrial community. The initiative brought together companies across FPIP to clean their respective vicinities, promoting a shared responsibility for environmental care.

In line with the Filipino belief “Ang Kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” YKK Philippines, Inc. actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela initiative led by the Association of FPIP Locators Inc. on August 8, 2025, at Brgy. Sta. Anastacia Elementary School. The activity was headed by YKK PCO, Vince Carlo Orzales, who coordinated the company’s involvement in the event.

As hospitals were overwhelmed with the sudden rise of COVID-19 cases, public officials and private individuals pleaded the public for cash donations or materials needed for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

In line with our commitment to sustainability and in celebration of Environmental Month, YKK ASAO proudly participated in a group tree planting activity. This initiative forms part of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program to support ecological preservation and community engagement.
